2003 Alabama Quarter P Mint
$1.99
The Alabama quarter features Alabama native Helen Keller, with her name depicted in both English and Braille. It is the first U.S. circulation coin containing Braille. The theme of the quarter, “Spirit of Courage,” is inscribed in a banner below. The left side of the coin displays a needle and cone wreath from the state tree, the southern long leaf pine, and the right side features a pair of camellias, the state flower.
