Product Description
This quality coin display celebrates the call out to women to join the workforce. During WWII, after the attack on Pearl Harbor and so many men rallying behind the battle lines, women were needed to fill jobs so that the United States could ramp up production and win the war. Rosie the Riveter made her debut on the cover of the Saturday Evening Post designed by Norman Rockwell on May 29, 1943. She became an icon and was loved by America. This item includes a 1943 Steel Penny composed of a steel alloy and coated with zinc. The protective acrylic case displays our colorful educational insert and shows both sides of the coin.
