Alaska Quarter Collection


The Alaska State Quarter Collection features one uncirculated quarter each from the Denver (D) and Philadelphia (P) mints. Alaska is the fourth State Quarter of 2008, and the 49th state to enter the Union. The Alaska State Quarter proudly displays a awe-inspiring depictions of both Alaska and the grizzly. The magnificent animal is emerging from the river clutching a salmon in its great jaws. Behind the beast, a rushing waterfall and a mighty pine tree is seen. To the right of the bear is the inscription “The Great Land.” This two-coin set of brilliant uncirculated U.S. Minted quarter dollars is an educational and convenient way to collect every quarter in the 56-coin series. The colorful tri-fold card includes interesting historical facts about the state and the significance of its quarter design. It includes notable natives, population and other interesting statistics to study and enjoy. The collection opens up to a 5″ x 15″ vertical tri-fold.
