The third State Quarter of 2006 features a simple yet majestic tableau from the state of โColorful Colorado.โ Longs Peak, the mountain featured in the design, is one of 54 peaks in Colorado that reach past 14,000 feet in height, and are known affectionately as the โFourteeners.โ
