2016 Native American Dollar 2 Coin Set - Both Mints

This set includes two uncirculated 2016 Native American $1 coins - one from each of the mints, Denver and Philadelphia. The coins are displayed in an elegant case with an insert containing information on the design of the coin.

The 2016 Native American $1 Coin design is based on the theme of "Code Talkers from both World War I and World War II (1917-1945)".

The obverse of these dollar coins was first produced in 2000 and features the image of Sacajawea and her infant son with the inscriptions "LIBERTY" and "IN GOD WE TRUST".

The reverse (tails), which was designed by Thomas D. Rogers, Sr., features two helmets with the inscriptions "WWI" and "WWII", and two feathers in the form of a "V"m symbolizing victory, unity, and the important role that these code talkers played. The inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "$1" are also included on the reverse.
