Washington Olympic National Park Quarter D- 2011

Product Description

Olympic National Park protects snow-capped mountains at dizzying altitudes, acres of rain forests, and miles of sandy Pacific shoreline; it is a national park of “Olympic” proportions. On the reverse of the 2011 quarter, a Roosevelt elk dips its forelegs in the Hoh River as it winds its way from Mount Olympus, pictured in the background. Also printed on the edges of the coin are the words OLYMPIC, WASHINGTON, 2011, and E PLURIBUS UNUM. As circulated quarters continue to be difficult to find, these collections will become a premium item. Uncirculated State Quarters are a rare find and continue to climb in value and demand. Quarter prices are subject to change without notice.
